American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) Scholarships

Through the generosity of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, our donors, partners and corporate sponsors, the AACPDM is proud to offer Annual Meeting Scholarships to AACPDM members in good standing. Three types of travel scholarships are offered for each year's Annual Meeting: International, Student, and OrthoPediatrics®.

MEMBER HIGHLIGHT
"Through talking to the people who are specialized in gait analysis, since we could not afford a gait lab in China, they suggested utilizing observational gait analysis. I performed a literature review for visual gait analysis, and now I am trying to build our own visual gait analysis system and if this work well for us, I will introduce to my colleagues who are interested in treating CP patients, and more and more patients could benefit from this."
Lin Feng, PhD, MD - 2015 International Scholarship Winner

"I am grateful to the AACPDM for supporting my attendance to the Annual Meeting through the AACPDM scholarship. As a postdoc fellow, attending the AACPDM Annual Meeting was not only an opportunity to gain insight into a quickly evolving field, but it was an opportunity to present my own research. I have been fortunate to present at previous AACPDM meetings. At the conclusion of my presentations, I have received very helpful feedback and several great ideas about future directions in which to take my work. Finally, attending the 2016 AACPDM Annual Meeting was a unique opportunity to meet with international multi-disciplinary experts in the field of childhood-onset disabilities."
