Lifespan Journal Digest

Part of the mandate of the Lifespan Committee of the AACPDM is to promote and share evidence-based information about aging with childhood-onset disabilities. With this in mind, the Committee set out to establish a way to routinely spotlight recent literature focusing on lifespan care issues, including the transition to adult care, aging with a disability, and adult outcomes. From these discussions, the Lifespan Care Journal Digest was born. Committee members regularly comb through recent publications to identify and summarize articles they feel are highly relevant and impactful. Their summaries are then posted here so that they can be easily accessed by providers and consumers in keeping up with recent research in this area. We hope you enjoy reading them!
