If you attended the 63rd Annual Meeting and have not yet done so, please take a few moments to fill out evaluations for the meeting sessions that you attended. These evaluations are important to AACPDM because they help us to improve the Annual Meeting, and also give the presenters feedback.
NOTE: As of December 1, 63rd Annual Meeting evaluations are closed. However, if you have comments regarding the meeting that you would still like to make, please contact the AACPDM office.
Ask and you shall receive! Details of the Instructional Course Lectures that will be held at the 2009 Annual Meeting are now available as a PDF file. To access the details, go to www.aacpdm.org/meetings/2009/program.php and choose the Instructional Course PDF.
Although AACPDM remains primarily dedicated to providing information for our members and other health care providers, we have also added information for families of persons with childhood onset disabilities, as well as patients with these conditions. This area of the website includes a description of cerebral palsy from the UCP’s website, a direct link to find a provider, information on the Family Forum at the AACPDM Annual Meeting and links to other websites of interest. You can view the new section at the right hand side of the menu bar on any page.
It’s now easier than ever to view AACPDM publications on our website! The new Publications menu choice features enhanced information about the DMCN journal, with links to the current issue’s Table of Contents and general information about the journal. The section also directs you to recent AACPDM newsletters, current books from Mac Keith Press, a suggested reading list of books about childhood disabilities, outcome studies and the perennially popular Top 10 Articles pertaining to developmental medicine as identified by Doctors Gordon Worley, MD and Gregory Liptak, MD.
