Membership Types

Fellow Members   Apply Now   ♦   $300 per year

Fellow Members are professionals with at least a Bachelor’s degree who have a significant interest, as demonstrated by their work, in cerebral palsy, developmental disorders and/or other childhood-onset disabilities. This category of membership encompasses applicants with any degree, who are no longer in training or full-time students.  Fellow members receive a complimentary subscription to the official journal of the AACPDM, Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology


Corresponding Members   Apply Now   ♦   $50 per year

Corresponding Members are professionals who hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, in their home country. Corresponding Members should have a significant interest in cerebral palsy, developmental disorders and/or other childhood-onset disabilities. To qualify for this type of membership, the applicant must reside outside the United States and Canada. Applicants who meet these criteria may apply to become Fellow Members instead, if they choose. 


Trainee/Student Members   Apply Now  ♦   $40 per year

Trainee/Student Members are professionals attending post-entry professional training (i.e. residency, clinical fellowship, masters or doctoral programs) who have a significant interest as demonstrated by their work in cerebral palsy, developmental disorders and/or other childhood-onset disabilities.  This category of membership may be used for the duration of training, after which membership will be converted to Corresponding or Fellow membership.


Emeritus Members  ♦   No cost

Emeritus Members are current members of AACPDM in good standing, who are 70 years old, and/or have retired from active practice. Members who meet these criteria and would like to become Emeritus Members should contact the AACPDM office by email or phone.
