Message from Deborah Thorpe
I am a clinical researcher and academician whose work primarily focuses on identifying the development of secondary conditions in adults with cerebral palsy and developing evidence-based interventions to improve function, health and quality of life in these adults. I enjoy mentoring and feel that no matter where in your career, everyone needs a mentor(s). I would love to meet with my mentee in person but also feel that online and phone communication works well. I would be happy to provide feedback on ideas, written work, career development etc. I will be a better mentor if the mentee is proactive, enthusiastic, passionate, and contributing. I expect to also learn from my mentee!
