- PEDIATRIC ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

Since our founding by Dr. Arthur Gillette more than 100 years ago, Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare has been at the forefront of medical technology, treatment, education and research for children with disabilities or complex medical needs.
Gillette is currently seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join this specialized and established, hospital-based pediatric orthopedic practice. The individual will provide care for children, adolescents and young adults with an emphasis on injury, and developmental and neuromuscular diseases (such as cerebral palsy and gait problems). Gillette collaborates with Minnesota’s only pediatric Level 1 trauma center. Gillette has a state-of-the-art motion analysis lab and a new advanced imaging center which includes ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI.
Gillette is located in the beautiful Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota metropolitan area, one of the nation’s best kept secrets. The location offers four beautiful seasons and a wide range of appealing activities that include bicycling and boating in the summer, skiing and skating in the winter, year-round professional sports, culture and art. The qualified candidate will be a BE/BC pediatric orthopedic surgeon who has completed fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic surgery.

Reports to Director of Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Services.
Individual will be responsible for planning, administering, and managing the operation of physical, occupational, speech therapies and specialty programs as well as the operation of sports medicine, prevention, and recreational therapies. Individual will be responsible for assigned programs and locations and will work collaboratively with the director to assure alignment of services within the Rehab Continuum.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology. Licensed or registered in the state of Michigan. Master's degree in Management, MBA, or Healthcare/Public Administration preferred. Five or more years of progressively responsible management experience in the field of rehabilitation or comparable field.
Pediatric rehab experience required and management experience strongly preferred. Position requires that time be split between pediatric clinical care (40%) and Pediatric Rehab management (60%).
